Chelsea ready for super star signing

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has put aside £50 million for one marquee signing this summer.

Abramovich is prepared to shell out more than £50million on one marquee name if it means signing the superstar players who can take Chelsea to the top of European football. Real Madrid superstar Kaka and Liverpool’s Fernando Torres tick every box on Abramovich and Stamford Bridge coach Carlo Ancelotti’s wish-list.

The increasingly frenzied pursuit of Kaka saw chief scout Michael Emenalo – who has an increasing influence at Chelsea – dispatched to Curitiba recently for Brazil’s World Cup training camp to keep tabs on the playmaker as he recovers from injury.

Ancelotti is credited with getting the best out of Kaka when he was at AC Milan, and Abramovich is determined to bring him to West London
