chelsea record breaking season
Was there ever any doubt? Chelsea went into their final Premier League match of the season knowing that only victory against Wigan Athletic would seal a fourth league title, with Manchester United breathing down their necks and going into a home match with Stoke City - who the Blues had spanked 7-0 in their previous home game. In the end, Carlo Ancelotti's side completed their task with the attacking verve that has characterised their season.
