England 2 - Japan 1 (International Friendly, May 30, 2010) England were stunned after just seven minutes when a well worked short corner was turned in by Tulio Tanaka. Early in the second half England had a golden opportunity to level but Frank Lampard saw his penalty saved by Eiji Kawashima.




With eighteen minutes to go the Three Lions did pull level, Tulio Tanaka bagging his second of the match, heading into his own net from a Joe Cole cross. With seven minutes to go England found an unlikely winner, Yuji Nakazawa scoring Japan’s second og of the match from an Ashley Cole center.
